Becoming a Paramedic - Congratulations to Member Ben Ahrens!

The members of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company would like to congratulate member Ben Ahrens on becoming a Nationally Registered Paramedic. Ben is a second generation member and has been with the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company for the past 3 years. A Rock Hall native, Ben graduated from Kent County High School in 2012 and began helping the residents of Rock Hall as a pharmacy technician working at Walgreens. Shortly after Ben joined RHVFC, he completed the EMT program furthering his commitment to residents of Rock Hall. Ben has recently begun a career in the Emergency Medical profession, which began by becoming a volunteer. Ben continues to find time to volunteer in his hometown and we look forward to his continued service in Rock Hall.

If you have ever considered serving your community or helping others in their time of need, now is the time to act! RHVFC is looking for volunteers! No experience necessary. There are many roles within our company, both on the front lines and behind the scenes. We provide training and opportunities for classes for those who are interested in becoming firefighters and Emergency Medical Services providers. We are also seeking supporting members to help with fundraising, working at events, maintaining equipment and the firehouse and more. If you have a desire to help others and want to make a difference, please contact us today.
