The Officers and Members of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Life Member George Francis Kendall of Rock Hall, MD.
George died Wednesday, Nov 18, 2015 at his home in Rock Hall. He was 70.
George F. Kendall was born Dec 24, 1944 in North Andover, MA the son of the late George C. Kendall and Ruth “Whittaker” Kendall. Mr. Kendall worked for the Town of Rock Hall for 34 years and retired in 2003 as the Superintendant for Water and Sewer. Mr. Kendall was a lifetime member of the Rock Hall Vol. Fire Co. Mr. Kendall was a huge NASCAR fan and loved to watch his favorite drivers both Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. race. He was also a big Ravens fan. George loved to work in his yard and maintain his home and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruthann Kendall of Rock Hall, MD, two daughters, Dawn Holden of Rock Hall, MD, Beverly Gordon of Phoenixville, PA, one son, Herb Cain of Port Deposit, MD, one brother, James Kendall of Rock Hall, MD, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
