On Monday, October 29th, 2018 at approximately 4:45 PM the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Maryland Route 20/Rock Hall Ave. The accident occurred at the entrance to Zeeman Road. Utility 7 with Chief 7 was the first unit to arrive on location and found a motor vehicle collision involving 2 vehicles. The vehicles were stationed in the westbound travel lane of route 20. The road was shutdown and first responders checked on injuries. Two individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to the UM Shore Medical Center in Chestertown. Mutual aid agencies including units from Kent & Queen Annes Rescue Squad, Kent County EMS, Kent County Sheriff's Department and Rock Hall Fire Police assisted with the accident scene.
