On Monday, October 25, 2021 at approximately 18:28 the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a MVC (Motor Vehicle Collision) Major Incident at 21321 Rock Hall Ave. Units arrived on location to find a motor vehicle into a building. The vehicle penetrated the front entrance wall and the back wall of the business. Incident command requested Delmarva Power and a Structural Engineer to respond to the scene while crews from Engine 72 and Tower 7 immediately cleared the building and stabilized the front entrance wall. Crews from Ambulance 7 and 7-1 as well as Kent EMS evaluated and transported two patients to Chester River Hospital Center as a precaution. A rollback was called to remove the vehicle from the building and Incident Command placed the situation under control. Units on the scene included Tower 7, Engine 72, Ambulance 7, Ambulance 7-1, Kent EMS, Rock Hall Fire Police. The cause of the accident will be investigated by the Rock Hall Police Department.
