Structure Fire - Haven Road 1/2/24

On January 2nd, 2024, at approximately 21:40 the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company and mutual aid companies were dispatched for a structure fire at 21110 Haven Road. The actual address of the fire was 21106 Haven Road. The residential structure was located at the corner of Haven Road and Boyce Lane. RHFP and Engine 72 were the first units on the scene. Upon arrival first responders reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the structure. Crews conducted a defensive exterior attack to bring the fire under-control. No occupants were home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The situation was brought under control at 22:47. Haven Road and North Hawthorne Ave were shut down for a period of time while apparatus was staged. The cause of the fire will be investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office. Several mutual aid companies responded and assisted at the scene and stood by at Station 7. Engine 4, Utility 82, SOT8, Paramedic 1-1, Ambulance 8-1, Ambulance 7-1, Paramedic 17, Rescue Engine 6, Tower 6, Engine 6, Engine 68, Engine Tanker 7, Engine 72, Rescue 5, Squad 5, Tanker 4, Tanker 6, Tanker 5, Utility 6, Rescue Engine 3, Rock Hall Fire Police, Kent Co.
